Actually some of the functionalities we are already designing into the next generations and other ones we are working in the workshops with the OEMS so this will be definitely in the next generation of cars being in yet.\" (Soundbite partially covered with head up display and various of cars on display at the Geneva Auto Show)\u003cbr/\u003eKeep your eyes on the road, is every driving instructor's mantra. \u003cbr/\u003eBut perhaps one day infotainment (information and entertainment) systems displayed on the windscreen will help drivers navigate the road more safely.\u003cbr/\u003eDo people behind the wheel want to see advanced infotainment (information and entertainment) systems between them and the road? \u003cbr/\u003eHarman - a global audio and infotainment group - is confident they do. \u003cbr/\u003eThe company is promoting its latest interactive HUD or head up display technology at the Geneva Motor Show that it claims will \"transform the car into a mobile office - safely.\"\u003cbr/\u003eHUD technology is basically a windshield projection technology already present in various luxury cars. \u003cbr/\u003eHarman's head up display system shows the driver things like speed and distance to the car in front, incoming phone calls with the picture of the caller, weather conditions, arrows for navigation, directions and warnings of looming collisions. \u003cbr/\u003eThis is a large amount of information being delivered into the driver's line of sight but Hans Roth, Harman's Director Technology Marketing, believes the information is delivered seamlessly enough that it won't be distracting nor dangerous.\u003cbr/\u003eRoth says \"We are providing here an intuitive and safe interaction with the car and to provide them the functionalities in the most natural way.  The most natural way means for us, for example, looking always on to the street having your eyes  on the road and providing the information, important information, necessary information always on the head up display so you are not distracted and with very simple gestures we can control the system to make it very intuitive and safe.\"  \u003cbr/\u003eWith a wave of the hand, Roth demonstrates how a driver could reject incoming information and silence phone calls should they feel the need.\u003cbr/\u003eRoth says Harman is working with automakers to incorporate many of these new features into the
