Mid of muffins and photo of owners with a wax model of Obama \u003cbr/\u003eA bakery in the German city of Dresden has released an 'American Dream' series of pastries, to commemorate a brief visit by US President Barack Obama.\u003cbr/\u003eObama arrived in Dresden late on Thursday, fresh from delivering a centrepiece speech to the Muslim world during a high profile visit to Cairo, Egypt.\u003cbr/\u003eEarlier in the day bakery owner, Matthias Walther proudly showed off his 'Obama Cake' made with nuts and cranberries on Thursday, claiming his pastries are fit for even the fussiest of presidents.\u003cbr/\u003e\"The customers have received it very well. We have an order for 500 pieces for tomorrow, not only for the Obama cakes but also chilli-cheese crackers. Obama likes chilli, so we figured we'd make a chilli pastry too\", Walther said.\u003cbr/\u003eShowing some canny marketing skills, Walther has been advertising the cakes with a photo of himself and a wax model of Obama that was taken at a Berlin wax museum.\u003cbr/\u003eThe picturesque eastern city, which was razed by Allied bombs and only finally rebuilt after German reunification, has been carefully chosen as the backdrop for Obama's visit to Germany.\u003cbr/\u003eWith its Baroque palaces and soaring stone dome the city is considered by many as Germany's cultural jewel of the east, and is also close to the Buchenwald concentration camp memorial Obama plans to visit on Friday.\u003cbr/\u003eOn Saturday, Obama will visit Normandy to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the Allied invasion of German-occupied France on June 6, 1944.\u003cbr/\u003eThe president will also spend time in the capital, Paris, with French President Nicholas Sarkozy.\u003cbr/\u003eThere is however no
