Wide shot audience applause\u003cbr/\u003eBeleaguered Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra said on Monday that he was undecided on whether he will once again accept the top government post, even if his party wins national elections in November. \u003cbr/\u003eResponding to a question following a speech in New York, Thaksin said his name would appear on the election list and he would remain as chairman of the Thai Rak Thai Party, but he wasn't sure if he would accept the prime minister's post. \u003cbr/\u003e\"I will be on the party list,\" he said. \"I will be chairman of the party, but I am not sure whether I should accept the prime ministership or not.\"\u003cbr/\u003eThe prime minister also ridiculed the opposition parties, saying their boycott of the previous election was a way of their getting around the fact that they would lose if they ran candidates. The poll was boycotted by opposition parties and later annulled by Thailand's top courts, leaving the country without a working legislature.\u003cbr/\u003eNew elections are scheduled for October 15 but are likely to be postponed until at least November.\u003cbr/\u003eThaksin's Thai Rak Thai Party has twice won landslide election victories, in 2001 and 2005 and is expected to win the next
