\u003cbr/\u003eThe famous Bulgarian puppeteer was celebrating 40 years in theatre and his latest work has a topical message.\u003cbr/\u003eThe play is divided into three acts concentrating on human nature, the destruction of human values and the environment. \u003cbr/\u003eIts theme is the pursuit of peace through an appreciation of the natural world around us, a message that Vassilev argues should be heeded by U.S. President George Bush, British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar. \u003cbr/\u003eThe play incorporates puppets, dancers and video screens to communicate its call for world peace and environmental awareness. \u003cbr/\u003eAfter the performance there was a small ceremony celebrating Vassilev's 40 years in theatre and the start of the festival which he helped create. \u003cbr/\u003eHe was presented an award by Ivan Gristov, Bulgaria's ambassador to Mexico. \u003cbr/\u003eMihail Vassilev was born in Gorna Oriajovitza, Bulgaria and has lived in Mexico since the early eighties, dedicating his life to developing puppet theatre in the country. \u003cbr/\u003e\"Dreams\" is performed by the Muf Theatre of which Vassilev is the founder and director. \u003cbr/\u003eThe new play will go on tour at festivals around the world this year, including Taiwan, Germany, Great Britain, Spain and France. \u003cbr/\u003eThe International Festival of Puppetry in Mexico City will run from April 14th to 30th with puppeteers performing from countries including Argentina, Taiwan, Great Britain, Cuba and
