But nothing directly so we were never asked for money, we were never asked, and we just know they made some political demands to the countries that are three men are from. As well as verbally he said if I was kidnapped, - and I'm not using his exact words, the exact words would be on our website if anyone would like to see them - but he said I would already have forgiven them. former hostage Norman Kember was flown out of Baghdad on a British transport plane.\u003cbr/\u003eSpeaking to reporters in Baghdad, Peggy Gish of the Canadian Peace Team said that she knew \"that Norman was flown out with British military transport.\" \u003cbr/\u003eFurther details about the departure of Kember, 74, were not known, said Gish, a member of the Chicago-based group for which the former hostage worked in Baghdad.\u003cbr/\u003eIt was not immediately clear when two Canadians kidnapped and released along with Kember would be leaving Iraq. \u003cbr/\u003eUS and British forces stormed a house on Thursday on the western outskirts of Baghdad and found the three with their hands bound. \u003cbr/\u003eNo shots were fired and no kidnappers were in the building.\u003cbr/\u003e\"Right before the intervention, they were bound and then their captors left the building,'' Gish said.\u003cbr/\u003eGish confirmed that the released men seemed in good health and that during his captivity Norman Kember had received medication for his illness from the hostage takers.\u003cbr/\u003e\"Those holding him provided his medication for him from local sources.\" said Gish.\u003cbr/\u003eDespite the ordeal, Gish said the three men remained \"dedicated\" to their work with the Iraqi people. \u003cbr/\u003eKember, 74, and Canadians James Loney, 41, and Harmeet Singh Sooden, 32, were kidnapped November 26 along with an American colleague, Tom Fox, 54. \u003cbr/\u003eFox's body was found on March 9, shot and dumped in western Baghdad.\u003cbr/\u003eSpeaking with reference to Tom Fox, Gish also confirmed that he had said prior to his kidnapping that if anything happened to him he would want \"everyone to forgive them, even if they kill me.\" \u003cbr/\u003eGish said it never became clear to the captives why they were kidnapped or who their captors were.\u003cbr/\u003e\"Our team has never received any direct communication with them,'' she said, adding that no ransom was demanded or paid.\u003cbr/\u003eThe previously unknown Swords of Righteousness Brigades claimed responsibility for the kidnappings.\u003cbr/\u003eThousands of Iraqis have been kidnapped for ransom and some Westerners are believed to have been grabbed by those criminal gangs as well.\u003cbr/\u003eThe Christian Peacemaker Teams volunteers have been in Iraq since October 2002, investigating allegations of Iraqi detainees being held without cause by US and Iraqi forces. \u003cbr/\u003eThe group says its teams promote peaceful solutions in conflict
