So they'll be starting to serve that sentence and that sentence hasn't been imposed yet,\" Madden said.\u003cbr/\u003eReid and McCollum Connolly disappeared while working on the Spanish island of Ibiza. \u003cbr/\u003eThey claim they were robbed of passports and phones and followed as they travelled on separate flights to Peru. \u003cbr/\u003eMadden said the women didn't know each other before going to Peru and have become best friends who are supporting each other.\u003cbr/\u003e\"Their main concern at the moment is that they may be separated. They may be sent to different prisons or they may be separated,\" Madden said.\u003cbr/\u003eA Peruvian police official says both women insisted on their innocence during questioning.
