Various shots Madonna on the red carpet\u003cbr/\u003eThe Malawi Director who is overseeing Madonna's adoption of David Banda, said he plans to soon visit the singer's London home to check the criteria necessary for the adoption to be complete.\u003cbr/\u003eMadonna and her husband, film director Guy Ritchie, took custody of David Banda, then 14 months old, last October. His father had placed David in an orphanage.\u003cbr/\u003eMalawi's Child Welfare Service is expected to file a report on the couple's suitability as adoptive parents after two trips to their London residence this year. But the welfare service has already missed one visit, which was set for May.\u003cbr/\u003eDuring a United Nations related trip to New York, Director Penston Kilembe, who is overseeing the case, said he still needs to look at his schedule to verify dates for a trip to London. \u003cbr/\u003e\"You must appreciate that I'm responsible for so many activities within the ministry and I cannot just pull out my time to get out there.
