He has been made a pawn in our abortion debate. I believe he deserves to be judged on his whole record, his professional credentials and his background, his life experience and his current views. And my desire to provide instant answers to a barrage of questions coming at me I spoke without having all of the facts at my disposal.\u003cbr/\u003eSUPERCAPTION:  Dr Henry Foster\u003cbr/\u003eFor the nomination to be approved by the committee, Foster must win the support of at least two of the nine Republicans and all seven Democrats.\u003cbr/\u003eOne possible Republican supporter, fellow Tennessean and doctor Bill Frist, agrees that abortion should not be the central issue in Foster's nomination.\u003cbr/\u003eFirst, I don't think this hearing is the time or the place to revisit our national policy on abortion.
