I hope that with the final passing of this law in the parliament we will no longer see discrimination based upon religion on our country.\"\u003cbr/\u003e12. Ebadi leaving\u003cbr/\u003eThe Iranian Nobel Peace Prize winner, Shirin Ebadi, held a press conference in Tehran on Tuesday in which she confirmed she would be attending the prize giving ceremony in Norway on December 10th.\u003cbr/\u003eAsked a question about observing Islamic dress code, the lawyer and human rights activist said that people would be able to see what form of dress she would be wearing on December 10th, indicating she would attend the ceremony.\u003cbr/\u003eThe 56-year-old activist won the prize for her focus on human rights, especially on the struggle to improve the status of women and children.\u003cbr/\u003eEbadi also commented on a number of other issues.\u003cbr/\u003eOn the US occupation of Iraq she said no country should occupy another under the pretext of fighting terrorism or defending human rights.\u003cbr/\u003eShe said she believed human rights had improved in Iran in the last 20 years but that there were still many problems with regard to rights.\u003cbr/\u003eShe also commented on the case of Iranian-Canadian photo-journalist Zahra Kazemi, who died in state custody in July.\u003cbr/\u003eShe said she had agreed to represent the journalist's family but that she could not say more as the court hearing had not yet begun.\u003cbr/\u003eEbadi has previously acted for the families of writers and intellectuals who were victims of a series of murders in 1999-2000. \u003cbr/\u003eShe also worked to reveal those behind the attack on the students at Tehran University in 1999 where several students died. \u003cbr/\u003eShe has been
