Wide of a seal waving good bye\u003cbr/\u003eVisitors to an aqua show in Japan can watch synchronised swimming by beluga whales.\u003cbr/\u003eEven though their performances look smooth, the choreography is hard to learn for the intelligent mammals.\u003cbr/\u003eAt the aquarium near Tokyo, the marine mammals don''t only amuse spectators by jumping through the hoops or kicking a ball.\u003cbr/\u003eThese beluga whales at Hakkeijima Sea Paradise, in the Kanagawa Prefecture, can perform graceful synchronised swimming with human trainers.\u003cbr/\u003eSheema, Pululu and Sorya, three 4-metre-long white beluga whales, can spin in a circle linked with human trainers.\u003cbr/\u003eThis rare performance is not easy, even for intelligent sea creatures such as beluga whales.\u003cbr/\u003eTomomi Fukuda, trainer and choreographer of the show, says it was difficult to teach the beluga whales to swim in a synchronised motion together with other beluga whales, as well as humans.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I had to teach the movement to one beluga whale at a time.
