(Sept. 1)\u003cbr/\u003e[Notes:ANCHOR VOICE]  \u003cbr/\u003eWith fall in the air players and parents in Louisville, Kentucky, are getting ready for  the upcoming football season.\u003cbr/\u003eBut in a Louisville courtroom a former coach is preparing for a battle off the field. David Stinson is charged with reckless homicide in the death of one of his players. 15-year-old Max Gilpin died three days after collapsing while running in 94-degree-heat during a practice last August.\u003cbr/\u003eIt may be the first time a coach has been charged in a player's on-field death. \u003cbr/\u003eSOT My thoughts are Stinson didn't do anything wrong, they should leave him alone.\u003cbr/\u003eThat's seems to be the sentiment among many locals. Max Gilpin had been taking adderall, which is prescribed for attention deficit disorder. At least one expert thinks it contributed to his death.\u003cbr/\u003eSOT The football player who passed had other complications that created his passing and I just feel like he should be let go. He did all he could. I don't think he would ever deny his players of water.\u003cbr/\u003eSOT I have a football player myself and I'm at every practice -- and the way I see it is, his parents were there. I don't believe Stinson did anything wrong. If your parents are there, it's your parents responsibility to make sure your child has water.\u003cbr/\u003eSOT I think they're targeting the wrong person here, I don't think they should be targeting anybody. I mean it was an accident and it was a tragedy but I don't think he should be charged for any of this.\u003cbr/\u003eJustin Mattingly played for Stinson. He describes him as a supportive coach who worked closely with him on workout techniques.\u003cbr/\u003eSOT Justin Mattingly When I was practicing up there he never really neglected us of water or anything. Max did have some complications and he had some medicines he was on that didn't really go well with working out for football. \u003cbr/\u003eJury selection is under way in the
