\u003cbr/\u003eThe incident is the latest in a spate of campus security threats across the United States in the wake of the Virginia Tech massacre. \u003cbr/\u003eSecurity staff at Ponderosa High School heard a loud noise as the explosion occurred early on Friday morning and began evacuating the building, said Douglas County Sheriff Dave Weaver.\u003cbr/\u003eWeaver said a suspect was found outside the school carrying a chemical compound in a backpack.\u003cbr/\u003eSchool district officials said the suspect was a student, but offered no further details.\u003cbr/\u003eNo injuries or damage were reported as a result of the incident, which occurred just hours before the eighth anniversary of the Columbine High School shootings in Littleton, Colorado. \u003cbr/\u003eAt least a dozen people have been arrested or investigated after security alerts. \u003cbr/\u003eMany of the threats referred to Monday's massacre in Blacksburg, Virginia, in which gunman Seung-Hui Cho killed 32
