So it is music I think that represents all of us, but it is amazing the transition that we have made and I didn't think that we would be as successful as we have been in achieving that. Video clip Rogue Traders 'Voodoo Child'\u003cbr/\u003eAustralian electro rock band Rogue Traders like change.\u003cbr/\u003eHaving made their name at home with dance music - most notably winning an ARIA award for 'One of My Kind,' their re-mix of INXS tune 'Need You Tonight' - they recruited a headline grabbing new singer, developed a raw new sound, and are now winning over a brand new international audience.\u003cbr/\u003eThe band released 'Voodoo Child,' the first single from their album 'Here Comes The Drums,' in the UK this month. \u003cbr/\u003eReleased in on 10th July, the track debuted at number 3 in the UK singles charts. \u003cbr/\u003e'Voodoo Child,' and 'Here Comes The Drums' have both already been hits in Australia, where they came out in 2005. But the record introduces Britain to the band's new sound, and to Neighbours actress Natalie Bassingthwaighte as Rogue Traders' singer. \u003cbr/\u003eOriginal member James Ash, who formed Rogue Traders with Steve Davis, told AP Entertainment it feels a little strange to go back to the single:\u003cbr/\u003e\"I'd only been off the plane a few minutes and my mum turned the radio on and there was 'Voodoo Child' on the radio. They played London's Shepherd's Bush Empire to promote the album, and are set for their first national headline tour of Australia in September and October.\u003cbr/\u003eRogue Traders are still taking inspiration from other artists - 'Voodoo Child' features a re-recorded riff (rather than a smaple) from Elvis Costello's 'Pump It Up.'
