Various of waves crashing against beach\u003cbr/\u003ePeople living along El Salvador's Pacific coastline and residents of other Latin American countries that border the Pacific Ocean will be receiving more detailed tsunami warnings, according to officials.\u003cbr/\u003eUS experts began a workshop this week in El Salvador's capital to train seismology, tsunami and emergency specialists from Central America and Mexico on the implementation of a new Pacific tsunami warning system.\u003cbr/\u003eThe system will provide more information about levels of threats specifically found in each of the countries in the region bordering the Pacific Ocean.\u003cbr/\u003eThe information will include arrival times of the waves, their amplitude in deep water and their estimated height off the Pacific from Mexico to Panama.\u003cbr/\u003eDr Charles McCreery, the director of the Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre, helped lead the training workshop, whihc was held at the Threat Monitoring Centre people.\u003cbr/\u003eEarthquakes in 2012 off the coasts of El Salvador and Costa Rica have been a stark reminder of the risks posed by earthquakes and tsunami along the Pacific coast of Central
