Prior to April the 19th, I received that the gas and its means of use were not pyrotechnic. Since then, I have consistently been told that no pyrotechnic devices were used. I will continue to pursue this matter to get to the truth. That is why (FBI) Director Freeh and I have ordered a full review of all the facts concerning this matter. I intend the results of the review to be made public and I will not stop until I get to the bottom of this.\"\u003cbr/\u003eSUPER CAPTION: Janet Reno, U.S. Attorney General\u003cbr/\u003eNevertheless she told reporters at the weekly news  conference that she had no reason to believe that the fire which engulfed the Branch Davidian compound on that fateful day, was deliberately ignited by Federal agents.\u003cbr/\u003eSOUNDBITE: (English)\u003cbr/\u003e\"I have no reason whatsoever, at this point, to believe that the FBI was responsible for the deaths of the people.  But, I think it is important for the American people to know we have pursued every question and pursued it far as we humanly can to get to the truth.\"\u003cbr/\u003eSUPER CAPTION: Janet Reno, U.S. Attorney General\u003cbr/\u003eMeanwhile members of the U-S congress Republican party made it clear they would re-open hearings into the 51-day siege at Waco, which ended in the death of David Koresh and about 80 of his followers.\u003cbr/\u003eReno admitted it would have been perfectly feasible that the cult leader, David Koresh could have set the compound alight himself without any government provocation.\u003cbr/\u003eF-B-I listening devices had recorded members of the sect discussing spreading fuel and planning a fire hours before the compound burned. \u003cbr/\u003eBut on Thursday, Reno described herself as being \"very troubled\" by the developments  and said she had been consistently told that no incendiary devices had been used at the compound. \u003cbr/\u003eSOUNDBITE: (English)\u003cbr/\u003e\"I am very, very frustrated.
