Bush has met with Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan on his first trip to the nation's capital since winning the election.\u003cbr/\u003eBush invited Greenspan to breakfast on Monday at his hotel near the White House.\u003cbr/\u003eBush has said he's standing by his proposed 1.3 trillion dollar tax cut, even though Democrats strongly oppose the plan as too costly - and even though some top members of his own party have suggested it is too unwieldy.\u003cbr/\u003eThe Republican has said there is more justification than ever for a big tax cut with the economy slowing.\u003cbr/\u003eGreenspan has, in the past, been critical of the size of Bush's tax cut, and some members of Bush's father's administration have suggested his tight-money policies in 1990-91 contributed to the elder Bush's loss to Clinton.\u003cbr/\u003eThis trip to Washington is the first in six months for Bush, who campaigned as an \"outsider\" during the election campaign and often
