In 1973, he became the first horse in twenty-five years to win the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing. Chenery took over the financially troubled Meadow Stable from her ailing father and guided the horse through his Triple Crown season. \u003cbr/\u003eAnother Oscar nominated actor, John Malkovich, plays the horse's trainer.
