Various shots Cecilia Cheung, Paul Forrest, Director of Global Development, Orbis holding hands for photo call \u003cbr/\u003eHong Kong star Cecilia Cheung has made a donation of one million Hong Kong dollars (128,205 U.S. dollars) to Orbis, a charity that hopes to prevent and treat blindness.\u003cbr/\u003eCheung held a press conference at Hong Kong International airport on Thursday (7 SEPT 2010) to help spread the word about the charity. \u003cbr/\u003eIt was Cheung's first time in front of the media since her involvement in Edison Chen's photo scandal in 2008. \u003cbr/\u003eSex photographs, that were leaked onto the Internet early 2008, showed Edison Chen performing sex acts separately with eight female Hong Kong stars, including Cecilia Cheung and Gillian Chung. \u003cbr/\u003eThe photos caused an uproar and forced the stars to withdraw from the spotlight.\u003cbr/\u003eIn the press conference, she said she felt moved to donate to the charity because the surgery available to treat children now was very successful.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I really love kids and I know the probability of recovery from cataract is about eight percent for the children under ten.
