Pan of mothers\u003cbr/\u003eThe mothers of three US citizens, held for 10 months in Iran, said on Sunday they were determined \"to bring our children home\" as they prepared to travel to Tehran, hopefully later this week.\u003cbr/\u003e27-year-old Shane Bauer, his girlfriend, Sarah Shourd, and their friend Josh Fattal were arrested along the Iraqi border last July and accused by Iran of spying. \u003cbr/\u003eRelatives say the three were on vacation in the scenic Kurdistan region of northern Iraq and, if they crossed the border, it was by accident.\u003cbr/\u003eBauer's mother, Cindy Hickey of rural Pine City, Minnesota, said the families need to coordinate a number of things before they can leave. \u003cbr/\u003eShe said visas were granted to her; to Shourd, of Oakland, California; and to Laura Fattal, of suburban Philadelphia.\u003cbr/\u003eSpeaking during an interview in New York on Sunday, Hickey said the mothers \"really have no idea what's going to happen when we land.\" \u003cbr/\u003eAll three women were quick to highlight the fact that their trip is not political and that they are only going as mothers in the hope to bring their children home. \u003cbr/\u003e\"They've already done us a tremendous favour by letting us visit the kids but we want a bigger favour which is here we are, ok, just let them come home with us,\" Shroud said on Sunday.\u003cbr/\u003eAside from visiting their children, the three plan to meet with the Iranian attorney they've hired, along with the Swiss ambassador in Iran.  \u003cbr/\u003eSwiss diplomats have visited them in prison since the US has no official  presence in Iran.\u003cbr/\u003eThe mothers have also requested meetings with Iranian authorities but don't know if they'll get them.\u003cbr/\u003eThe three being held are all graduates of the University of California at Berkeley. \u003cbr/\u003eThey have been held in Iran for 285 days, and family members said recently they were growing more concerned after Swiss diplomats who visited them on April 22 reported that two of them were in poor health.\u003cbr/\u003eThe mothers are travelling light but are bringing mementos and photo's for their children to help cheer them up.\u003cbr/\u003eIran has not brought the three to trial or made clear if formal charges have been filed. \u003cbr/\u003eIn February, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad proposed swapping them for Iranians he says are jailed in the US, raising fears that the three are \u003cbr/\u003ebeing held as bargaining chips.\u003cbr/\u003eBauer, a freelance journalist, had been hired to cover the Kurdish elections in Iraq, but his family said the hiking trip was a vacation. \u003cbr/\u003eHe and Shourd were dating and had been living in Damascus, Syria. \u003cbr/\u003eShe taught English and had written for various online publications. \u003cbr/\u003eFattal went to visit them after travelling overseas on a teaching
