Bush met with young Italian entrepreneurs on Thursday before meeting with Italy's President.\u003cbr/\u003eBush encouraged the young entrepreneurs, who receive training in the United States through an exchange programme, to get the \"firsthand truth about America\" and disputed what he called misinformation and propaganda about the United States.\u003cbr/\u003e\"We are compassionate, we are an open country, we care about people, we are entrepreneurial,\" Bush said.\u003cbr/\u003e\"We love the entrepreneurial spirit. added.\u003cbr/\u003eNot far from Bush's meeting American artists in residence at the American Academy in Rome hung banners from the windows saying \"Enough Bush.\"\u003cbr/\u003eAnother banner showed the name \"Bush\" next to images of bombs and the name \"Obama\" next to images of peace, a reference to the US Presidential candidate, Barack Obama.\u003cbr/\u003e\"We're all very much against the very unpopular war so that's one of the reasons the banners are there,\" said Daniel Bozkov, a visual arts fellow at the American Academy.\u003cbr/\u003eBush left the event in his armoured limousine followed by dozens of vehicles.\u003cbr/\u003eHis entourage travels with two similar limousines and it is not clear in which one the President is riding.\u003cbr/\u003eA short time later, Bush was greeted by Italian President Georgio Napolitano at Quirinale Palace, situated atop the highest hill in Rome.\u003cbr/\u003eOriginally built as a summer home for popes at the end of the 16th century, the palace is now the official residence of the president.\u003cbr/\u003eSecurity is extremely tight for Bush's two-day stay in Rome.\u003cbr/\u003eCommercial flights have been banned over the city, dozens of buses and trams have been rerouted and thousands of policemen have been deployed as part of a plan to\u003cbr/\u003emonitor any further protests in the city.\u003cbr/\u003eBush is due to meet Italian Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi later on Thursday when they are expected to discuss Italy's interest in joining with the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council plus Germany that are making a diplomatic push to get Iran to give up what the West believes is an effort to develop nuclear weapons. \u003cbr/\u003eThey are also expected to touch on the subjects of Iraq and Afghanistan.\u003cbr/\u003eTo show Italy's strong opposition to Iran's suspected nuclear ambitions, Berlusconi and his government refused to meet with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who was in Rome for a UN-sponsored food summit last week.\u003cbr/\u003eBush will meet with the pope on Friday before departing to Paris to continue his farewell European tour.\u003cbr/\u003eIt will
