At Jupiter Medical Center we've been just treating chronic wounds for years with hyperbaric oxygen and we've been getting really good results with it. Basically what it does is, it uses oxygen as drug under high pressures and the oxygen is able to get to tissues that it normally wouldn't, damaged tissues that don't have good blood profusion, or don't have really good vessel formation, it's able to penetrate those areas under high pressure in these chambers, and it's able to form new blood vessels to heal cells and to even form stem cells that help heal even better.\"\u003cbr/\u003e5.
