Far fewer, according to others.\u003cbr/\u003eBut in his first television interview since the retreat, the K-N-U's leader, General Bo Mya, denies they're in a crisis. \u003cbr/\u003eIn fact, he says, the offensive has worked in their favour.\u003cbr/\u003eSOUNDBITE: (Karen) \u003cbr/\u003e\"My people, my troops, are stronger than ever. The Karen people inside Burma are oppressed by the government, so they're willing to get a gun and fight back.
