Close up of banner promoting ExibItaly design exhibition\u003cbr/\u003eHot Italian designs are creating a buzz in Moscow. \u003cbr/\u003eThe organisers of EXHIBITALY want to acquaint Russians with Italian fashion and quality, but they're also looking for a new market and opportunities.\u003cbr/\u003eTaking pictures of the red armchair designed by the Italian designer Gaetano Pesce in 1969, young Muscovites argue about its shape. \u003cbr/\u003eSome say it is just a bit of furniture, others try to persuade their friends the shape of the armchair resembles the body of a woman.\u003cbr/\u003eBut all of them agree the design is very unusual.\u003cbr/\u003eThe armchair is a part of the exhibition stand representing the living room at ExibItaly, which celebrates modern Italian design. \u003cbr/\u003eYoung architects Lorenzo Sant'Andrea and Nicolo Troianiello from the architectural and engineering Studio S03 represent today's Italian designers at the exhibition. \u003cbr/\u003eThey have created mesh armchairs with an organic form inspired by nature. \u003cbr/\u003eLorenzo Sant'Andrea says \"It's a product that's still in a developmental stage from an engineering point of view, therefore corrections may be made in due course. We wanted to give people an opportunity to get acquainted with talian design, and enjoy it calmly, not like in a shop.\"\u003cbr/\u003eItaly's ambassador to Russia, Antonio Zanardi Landi, says that Russian market is very important for Italy.  \u003cbr/\u003eLast year there was a significant increase in the export of various goods to Russia according to Russian Statistics service data. \u003cbr/\u003e\"We knew that the Italian market is not going to grow this year and next year. That's why we are aiming so much to Russian market,\" the ambassador says.\u003cbr/\u003eMany exhibition visitors have visited Italy and know a lot about the country. Some of them like travelling and sightseeing, others enjoy fashion and shopping.  \u003cbr/\u003eKonstantin Petrov says \"In general, I think that the Italian fashion is concentrated in Moscow because all are just mad about Italy, all my friends try to buy Italian clothes and shoes, and the Italian cars are considered to be the best.\"\u003cbr/\u003eFor Russian designer Vladimir Samoilov says most items represented here are well known, but he thinks that not many Russians will buy them. \u003cbr/\u003e\"Something from what is represented here at the exhibition can be brought into houses, but not to be sold on mass market.
