It is the first of several planned outposts that will bring the museum's collection of artifacts to a wider audience.\u003cbr/\u003e\"This isn't just a big moment for the city's music community, it's something that really everyone can get excited about,\" said Mayor Bloomberg. \"World class attractions like this museum set our city apart and help tourists coming to town and the more people who decide to come to New York and the more jobs they will create in our hotels and shops and galleries, restaurants and theaters.\"\u003cbr/\u003eBilly Joel and Clive Davis joined the mayor at the location in Soho where the branch will open in November. Admission at the New York annex will be $26 for adults.
