ahead of a 60-nation conference in London on the nation''s future.\u003cbr/\u003eThe UN Chief said he expects the new Afghan government to come out of Thursday''s conference with \"a strong compact for good governance\" urging them to address past corruptions and promote \"political reconciliation among their people.\"\u003cbr/\u003eUS and NATO forces have been taking increasing casualties from a resurgent Taliban, and are trying to shift more of the burden onto Afghans by speeding up the training of the Afghan army and paramilitary national police.\u003cbr/\u003eMuch of the focus will be on
