One of the ways you see that is that there is still support for anti-immigrant party, anti-Islamic party such as the group surrounding Geert Wilders who got 6 per cent of the vote, but what you also still see is that there is a non-establishment socialist party that really in fact gets a huge percentage of the vote - something like 16-17 per cent of the total vote and that also shows that there are a lot of people in Dutch society who are unhappy with the status quo.\" \u003cbr/\u003e15. On the other hand, I think that the Dutch government is also very much concerned about escalation, that they don't want there to be a major confrontation between anti-immigrant, anti-Islamic groups and new migrant groups within Dutch society. Kennedy in his office\u003cbr/\u003ePrime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende's centre-right Christian Democrats (CDA) won the most seats in Dutch elections, but results on Thursday showed a sharply divided nation with no alliance winning a clear mandate to govern.\u003cbr/\u003eDutch support was split between a government coalition that has been tough on immigration and pro-business, and socialists - led by the Labour Party - promoting a softer approach.\u003cbr/\u003eIt was clear no combination of left or right-wing parties will easily muster a majority in parliament, with Balkenende acknowledging that forming a coalition could take time.\u003cbr/\u003eDutch voters also also expressed some concern at the prospect of weeks or possibly months of haggling to hammer out the formation of a government. \u003cbr/\u003e\"It was (the result) expected based on the polls and this will be very difficult.
