So what they are looking for is to become adults straight away, but a child must be a child. They immediately start to work and a child who starts working at 11 or 12 or 13 years of age is being exploited. There are children who enter the world of prostitution. These are things that can happen and we want to give them an option. This centre, first of all will give them a lot of love. We will teach them arts, martial arts, music, mediation, yoga... Medium shot Ricky Martin on studio set\u003cbr/\u003eLatin superstar Ricky Martin said Thursday (19NOV09) he is teaming up with a German broadcaster to support his foundation and build a youth centre for children in his native Puerto Rico.\u003cbr/\u003eMulti-Grammy winning artist Martin told Associated Press he is joining RTL on a telethon to raise money to build the centre in Loiza, near the capital, San Juan.\u003cbr/\u003e\"My mission is to create a centre, a space where 150 children will be able to shelter from exploitation,\" he said.\u003cbr/\u003eThe RTL telethon Thursday and Friday is also raising money for other international and German children's charities.\u003cbr/\u003eThe centre in Loiza will be able to accommodate 150 children, Martin said. \u003cbr/\u003eIt has been designed by University of Puerto Rico architecture students, and construction is to get under way next year.\u003cbr/\u003e\"This centre, first of all will give them a lot of love.
