So she's asked a family court in the capital Lima to dissolve the marriage by mutual consent, a category that would not confer any blame.\u003cbr/\u003eWell, at the moment we are waiting for a ruling on the appeal we filed on October 18th to the effect that the Sixth Chamber of the Family Section of the Superior Court of Lima should reaffirm the order issued by Judge German Aguirre accepting the position of Susana Higuchi and that there should be a conventional separation rather than the divorce on grounds (of injury to marriage) as ordered by the judge.\u003cbr/\u003eSUPER CAPTION:  Violeta Bermudez, Higuchi attorney\u003cbr/\u003eIf the court upholds Higuchi's request, another judge would have to consider the case because the two rulings would be incompatible.\u003cbr/\u003eThe public dispute between the president and first lady has scandalised many people in this conservative country. There is a definite separation of property.  The property that she has received will stay with her regardless of the reason.
