Attorney General Jesus Murillo Karam said suspects had told them the disappeared students were murdered and burned near a municipal garbage dump.\u003cbr/\u003eFor the government of President Enrique Pena Nieto, Murillo Karam's account explained the mystery of the missing students and provided the country with evidence they were dead.\u003cbr/\u003eBut for Clemente Rodriguez, father of one of the missing students, and other parents, the official account is merely another lie from an administration that wants to silence the poor, according to him.\u003cbr/\u003eHe said that if it was the son of President Enrique Pena Nieto who went missing, he \"would move sea and earth to find\" him.\u003cbr/\u003e\"But since we're poor people, they humiliate us, discriminate against us,\" Rodriguez said.\u003cbr/\u003eThe Rodriguez family's chronicle of disbelief is rooted in collusion between Mexican officials and organised crime.\u003cbr/\u003eThe students of the Rural Normal School of Ayotzinapa were last seen in the custody of police in the city of Iguala, allegedly at the behest of the mayor.\u003cbr/\u003eSoldiers and federal police didn't respond to the parents' urgent appeals for help and Mexico City waited 10 days before intervening.\u003cbr/\u003eRodriguez said he believes his son is still alive and blamed the government for failing to rescue him and his classmates.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I'm hopeful, I feel it in my heart, that my son Christian Rodriguez Telumbre and the other students are alive,\" Rodriguez said.\u003cbr/\u003e\"They have them hidden
