And several members of what became The Pistols used to hang out at the shop. So the genesis of the group if you like came out of the shop and they naturally wore the clothing produced by Vivienne and Malcolm and if you like popularized it. But also she is a very serious designer, she was always trying to push the boundaries. She is highly innovative and I think her costume designs, they are in museum collections, they  have been in exhibitions. Recorded under the name Toby Tyler in 1965, it is estimated to be worth up to �3000.\u003cbr/\u003eNothing to do with the punk Jubilee, but without whom no pop memorabilia auction is complete, are artefacts from the Beatles story. \u003cbr/\u003eFollowing a spate of high profile auctions featuring John Lennon's pianos, comes the sale of a MS-500 Mastersound solidbody guitar - played by George Harrison at a variety of gig in 1963. \u003cbr/\u003eHaving been stored in a loft in Sheffield for more than 20 years, organisers hope it will sell for up to �40,000. \u003cbr/\u003eThe Rock 'n' Roll memorabilia auction follows a morning sale of post-war fashion, from the collection of Lady McAlpine.\u003cbr/\u003eLady McAlpine's collection of over 1,000 items includes designs from Vivienne Westwood, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Ossie Clark, and Rudi Gernreich. The total collection is thought to be worth �55,000.\u003cbr/\u003eWhat 'punk' designer Westwood thinks of such an established lady owning so many of her clothes is unrecorded, but after buying her first outfit in 1987, Lady McAlpine became one of Westwood's most important patrons. \u003cbr/\u003eMcAlpine often wore the designer's 'outrageous' clothes to official functions at Buckingham Palace, The Houses of Parliament and No. 10 Downing Street.\u003cbr/\u003eThe Westwood lots up for auction draw on some of the designers major collections, including 1991's Dressing Up, Anglomania from 1993 and Storm On A Teacup from 1996.
