Wednesday.  \u003cbr/\u003eThe court has been hearing evidence from the Indian government against the imprisoned suspect, Maninder Pal Singh Kohli, as part of proceedings to extradite him.\u003cbr/\u003eHannah's mother, Hilary Foster, said on Wednesday it was \"truly horrific\" to see the main suspect.\u003cbr/\u003e\"We are absolutely shattered,\" she added.\u003cbr/\u003eHannah's father, Trevor Foster, said he couldn't hear much of the proceedings but that he and his wife were \"extremely upset\".\u003cbr/\u003eSeventeen-year-old Hannah Foster was abducted near her home in Portswood, Southampton, on March 14, 2003. \u003cbr/\u003eHer body was found two days later and a post-mortem revealed she had been raped and strangled. \u003cbr/\u003eManinder Pal Singh Kohli, an Indian citizen then living in Britain, fled to India shortly after he was identified by British police as a suspect in the crime. \u003cbr/\u003eHe was arrested in India in 2004. \u003cbr/\u003eHannah's parents, Trevor Foster and Hilary Foster, arrived in New Delhi on Monday to seek the intervention of President APJ Abdul Kalam and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to expedite Kohli's extradition to face trial in a British court.\u003cbr/\u003eHearings have been going on for 18 months.\u003cbr/\u003eAt a news conference on Tuesday, Trevor Foster said the family was bewildered by the delay and unable to move on with their lives while this issue remained unresolved.\u003cbr/\u003eSuch delays are common in India's judicial system.\u003cbr/\u003eMeanwhile, Kohli's lawyer filed a contempt of court petition on Wednesday against the Fosters making appeals to the executive and to the judiciary for the early extradition of the suspect.\u003cbr/\u003eKohli was arrested in West Bengal state in 2004 after Foster's parents came to India and appealed for information on his whereabouts, resulting in his picture appearing on the front pages of Indian
