A couple move...\u003c/span\u003e\n\u003cspan class='full-description hide'\u003eThere's a new dance craze in Paris that has people dancing to an African beat. \u003cbr/\u003eFrom the clubs of Angola, the sensual Kizomba is winning over new fans, so much so that next week the first Paris Kizomba Festival takes place. \u003cbr/\u003eA couple move in rhythm almost cheek to cheek on the dance floor. \u003cbr/\u003eThe sensual rhythm and precise footwork of the Kizomba is the latest trend in Paris nightclubs. \u003cbr/\u003eIn Angola, Kizombadas means having a party. \u003cbr/\u003eNow the Kizomba, a dance and a music style that was invented in Angola in 1985, is gaining popularity in multicultural Paris. \u003cbr/\u003eCymeone Mopao is a dance instructor and celebrated master of Kizomba. \u003cbr/\u003e\"Kizomba is a dance coming from Angola. It was invented around 1985, the music exists since than. The music group Kassav' went to Angola then, and the Angolans really appreciated Zouk music and they (the Angolans) integrated Zouk (French Caribbean dance) in their dance of Semba, an Angolan dance and that mix was called Kizomba.\"\u003cbr/\u003eThe dancers must first learn the basic steps, moving in circles and forwards and backwards. \u003cbr/\u003eMopao says it is an easy and very sensual dance that requires symmetry in the couples. \u003cbr/\u003e\"It is rather easy to learn (the dance) when you know the basics. Once you know them, it opens a lot of possibilities to create moves... it is really easy. \"\u003cbr/\u003eThe hip movements make the moves sexy and romantic, the precision of the footwork makes it challenging. \u003cbr/\u003e\"It is very sensual (dance) with (its own) technique. So you can have everything in this dance. People who love the technical side of dance will be satisfied. The others, who are looking for sharing with their partners will find that too. That is what is good with Kizomba.\" Mopao adds. \u003cbr/\u003eHigh above the dance DJ Loic finds the right beat : \"It is an African dance and music. It looks a little bit like Salsa, but it is not... it is something in between Zouk and Salsa, we can put it like that. There is more rhythm than in Zouk, and it is more tuneful, so it is very good to dance.\"\u003cbr/\u003eZouk is a mix of Caribbean and African rhythms.\u003cbr/\u003eGlen N'sambu, who is also known as DJ Zay'x , has been organising Kizomba classes and evenings in France for last three years, he says it is becoming ever more popular with Parisians: \"We see a real enthusiasm around this dance, more and more people, even during holidays, all year round we see a lot of (new) people coming. Regarding the music or the dance, Kizomba is the universe that is captivating more and more.\" \u003cbr/\u003eCity resident Elodie Tozin says the dance takes away from everyday life.  \"When I am dancing (Kizomba) it is carrying me away...
