During its annual meeting at a downtown Wilmington, Delaware, protestors...\u003c/span\u003e\n\u003cspan class='full-description hide'\u003eEnglish/Nat\u003cbr/\u003eCoca-Cola executives promised, on Wednesday, to make the soft drink giant's culture more diverse as the company faces a racial discrimination suit. \u003cbr/\u003eDuring its annual meeting at a downtown Wilmington, Delaware, protestors demonstrated against Coke's treatment of black workers and the fact that little recycled plastic is used in its packaging.\u003cbr/\u003eA group of black protesters against the Coca Cola company staged a five-day bus journey from Atlanta, where the company is based, to Wilmington, where the annual meeting was being held on Thursday. \u003cbr/\u003eThey have called for an international boycott of all Coke products because they say the \u003cbr/\u003ecompany discriminates against them.\u003cbr/\u003eThey say Coke has only one black senior executive and one black board member.\u003cbr/\u003eEight current and former black Coke employees sued the company last year alleging that they had been denied fair pay, raises, promotions and performance reviews. \u003cbr/\u003eReverend Jesse Jackson, who was on the bus, said Coke's board and executive offices must match the diversity of its consumers.\u003cbr/\u003eSOUNDBITE: (English)\u003cbr/\u003e\"But someone said \"take the risk of the bus riders, the freedom riders\", someone said \"offer them the minimum because they will go away\".  Well that's bad advice, they will not go away and these workers are going to give their testimony in court.  They are going to win in the court of the law and the court of public opinion.
