second a top figure in the militant group Hamas.\u003cbr/\u003eDoctors said nine bystanders were also wounded in the airstrike in the Jebaliya refugee camp in the Gaza Strip.\u003cbr/\u003eCrowds of people rushed to the scene of the attack, some of them climbing over the charred remains of the car.  \u003cbr/\u003eThe dead men were identified as Hassan Madhoun from Al Aqsa, an offshoot of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' ruling Fatah movement, and Fawzi Abu Kara from Hamas.\u003cbr/\u003eMadhoun was wanted by Israel who accused him of planning deadly bombings at Israel's Ashdod port and the Karni crossing between Gaza and Israel. \u003cbr/\u003eTen Israelis were killed in the Ashdod attack in 2004.\u003cbr/\u003eDozens of angry Al Aqsa members rushed to the local hospital where the bodies were taken. \u003cbr/\u003eGunmen fired into the air and vowed revenge against the Israelis. \u003cbr/\u003eHamas and Al Aqsa spokesmen also said Israel could expect retaliation. \u003cbr/\u003eThe Israeli missiles hit the car only a few minutes after a convoy carrying Mahmoud Abbas passed through the area, according to Palestinian security
