The testing is not saying you are a man or a woman. The test is about the level of anabolic steroids...(laughs)...male hormones, excuse me. The explanation that was given by Professor Lundqvist was explained that there are individuals that have a very high level of male hormones - mostly testosterone. This high level gives an unfair advantage to these individuals and we have no defined rules and we are defining a monitoring strategy whereby, for instance, an example is through doping controls, we can test whether these individuals have too high male hormones or not. If they are too high they can be treated so that the hormone level drops under a certain threshold and they can participate in women's competition. If it remains too high then they can not participate. So it's not a gender test it's not saying you are a man or a woman - it is saying you can compete. It is a matter of eligibility to participate in certain competitions.\"\u003cbr/\u003e8. Wide of Rogge (right) at news conference\u003cbr/\u003eSeveral new sports will debut at the 2014 Sochi Winter Games, including women's ski jumping, according to International Olympic Committee (IOC) president Jacques Rogge.\u003cbr/\u003eHe said the decision of the IOC regarding the inclusion of new events was based around the key factors of whether the changes would increase universality, gender equity and youth appeal.\u003cbr/\u003e\"We have incorporated them because we need for the olympic games to remain relevant with the youth of the world,\" he said. \u003cbr/\u003eMen's and women's ski halfpipe, women's ski jumping, biathlon mixed relay, team figure skating, and Luge team relay will appear in Russia in three years time.\u003cbr/\u003eRogge acknowledged the issues with capacity but was happy to wait for a full report expected mid-May before that is dealt with. \u003cbr/\u003e\"We would not want to have new sports at the games where there would be a problem with capacity of the slopes themselves,\" he said.\u003cbr/\u003eRogge was also keen to clear up any confusion regarding the 'gender testing' of athletes at the Games, an issue that refuses to go away following the controversy that dogged Olympic 800 metre runner Caster Semenya after the Beijing Games. \u003cbr/\u003e\"There are individuals that have a very high level of male hormones - mostly testosterone.
