Both sides understand this. You may not always necessarily agree on the exact decision that's taken but you do accept that's the principle on the basis of which our relationship prospers and is sustained,\" he said. \u003cbr/\u003eMany believed that Khobragade's return to India would be enough to give both countries a way to save face. \u003cbr/\u003eIndia, however, asked the United States on Friday to withdraw a diplomat from the US Embassy in New Delhi, and the State Department said it was complying, although with \"deep regret.\" \u003cbr/\u003eThe diplomat hasn't been named. \u003cbr/\u003eRequesting the recall of a diplomat is a serious, and fairly unusual, move that sends a message to Washington that India's government doesn't accept the legitimacy of the court action in New York.\u003cbr/\u003e\"We will remain in conversation (with the US) as we do with all our friends,\" Khurshid said on Saturday.\u003cbr/\u003e1.
