treadmill can also be used to measure the force applied to the ground by the user's feet to give more information on their muscle output and the load on their joints.\u003cbr/\u003eThe system enables physicians and patients to view, analyze and improve muscle activity during rehabilitation and training programs. \u003cbr/\u003eMotok hopes the technology will be used for diagnosing and evaluating businessman,\u003cbr/\u003ehad a hip replacement operation.\u003cbr/\u003eThere were some problems during hos recovery and Mr.van der Wert decided to join a three month long medical trial conducted by Motok and the Dutch Military Rehabilitation Centre in Doorn. \u003cbr/\u003eDoorn is about 50 kilometers east of Dutch capitol Amsterdam. \u003cbr/\u003eSo far the company has focused on leg muscles, but in time they hope to extend the system to monitor the whole body.\u003cbr/\u003eMarcel Hartman is a 24 year old a Dutch marine who is dealing with a complex knee injury.\u003cbr/\u003eHe is using the HBM once a week  - his six month long treatment began three months ago.\u003cbr/\u003eBut the technology still has a long way to go before it's validated as a medical rehabilitation tool.
