Ebadi and her defence team \u003cbr/\u003eNobel Peace Prize laureate Shirin Ebadi, leading a four-member legal team representing mother of a slain Iranian-Canadian photojournalist, threatened on Sunday to take the murder of Zahra Kazemi's case to international organisations if Iran's judiciary fails to uphold justice.\u003cbr/\u003eEbadi said during a press conference that she wished Iran's judiciary could be \"independent and efficient\".  She added, \"but if it's not provided, there are international organisations (to do it)\", but she didn't elaborate.\u003cbr/\u003eShe added that she would \"carry on with this case to find the real truth, even if it will cost my own life\".\u003cbr/\u003eAfter Saturday's hearings, Iran's hard-line judiciary on Sunday abruptly concluded the trial of a secret agent charged with murdering Zahra Kazemi, prompting Ebadi and her defence team to describe the proceedings as \"unacceptable\" and walk out in protest.\u003cbr/\u003eSpeaking to journalists outside the court, and sided by Zahra's mother Ezzat Kazemi, Ebadi said \"We left the court to show our protest. We do not accept the court and we do not recognise its authority\". \u003cbr/\u003eEbadi and her team refused to sign the bill of indictment at the court on Sunday, saying the court has to summon several top officials including hard-line Tehran Prosecutor Saeed Mortazavi to explain Kazemi's killing.\u003cbr/\u003eIt was not clear when a verdict would be issued in the case, which has strained Iranian-Canadian ties and led to finger-pointing between hard-liners and reformers within Iran's ruling Islamic establishment.\u003cbr/\u003eTo add to the strain, Canadian and European diplomats and the media were barred access to the court on Sunday, after having attended Saturday's hearing.\u003cbr/\u003eClearly outraged, Canadian Ambassador Philip Mackinnon and Dutch ambassador  Hein de Vries (representing the European Union) left the building after waiting for more than one and a half hours outside the court.  Mackinnon remained outside the courthouse as proceedings continued inside, but eventually he left the cordoned area outside the court. \u003cbr/\u003eCommenting on the refusal to let the ambassadors attending Sunday's court session, an Iranian Foreign ministry spokesman said that Zahra Kazemi was Iranian and Canada's insistence about the Canadian citizenship of Zahra wouldn't change the view of the Iranian judiciary.  \u003cbr/\u003eOn Saturday, Ebadi's team accused prison official Mohammad Bakhshi of inflicting the fatal blow to Kazemi, and accused the hard-line judiciary of illegally detaining her.\u003cbr/\u003eBakhshi has been cleared of any wrongdoing but under Iranian law lawyers can accuse someone already cleared of a crime.\u003cbr/\u003eThe court had only met three times in the trial of agent Mohammad Reza Aghdam Ahmadi, a counterespionage expert and the only person implicated by the judiciary in what is called the \"semi-premeditated murder\" of Kazemi.  He pleaded not guilty on Saturday.\u003cbr/\u003eAhmadi's lawyer, Qasem Shabani said he expected his client to be acquitted.\u003cbr/\u003eKazemi, a Canadian freelance journalist of Iranian origin, died July on 10, 2003, while in detention for taking photographs outside a Tehran prison during student-led protests against the ruling establishment.\u003cbr/\u003eIranian authorities initially said Kazemi died of a stroke.  Later, a presidential committee found that she died of a fractured skull and brain haemorrhage from a blow to the head.\u003cbr/\u003e\u003c/span\u003e\n\u003c/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv
