Ms (Un)Wanted 2\u003cbr/\u003eA new art exhibition in London aims to bring out the touchy feely side of visual art. \u003cbr/\u003eThe Jerwood Contemporary Makers Exhibition  brings together the work of seven emerging artists who have created work around the theme of touch. \u003cbr/\u003eThe show includes a giant canvas of creamy while porcelain dust waiting for visitors to destroy it and a range of furniture crafted from jewellery.  \u003cbr/\u003eSeven emerging artists were chosen for the 1st Jerwood Contemporary Makers Exhibition on London's Bankside. \u003cbr/\u003eThe collection combines letter sculpture, ceramics, embroidery and tapestry with jewellery installations and computer generated metal work. \u003cbr/\u003eContemporary Makers is the first in a new series of exhibitions that will show at Jerwood Space over the next three years. \u003cbr/\u003eSarah Williams, Visual Arts Co-ordinator at Jerwood Space says the exhibition aims to showcase emerging artists that push the boundaries of applied art and craft. \u003cbr/\u003eIn fact boundaries are pushed to such an extent that one of the most talked about exhibits at the show is literally a blank canvas - a wall stretching across the gallery covered in creamy porcelain dust.\u003cbr/\u003eArtist and ceramics expert, Clare Twomey explains that the wall is temporary in its initial state,  but will develop as it records the actions of visitors touching it, causing the dust to fall to the floor.\u003cbr/\u003eThe Ecstasy Of St Teresa After GL Bernini by Nicholas Rena is a set of four jugs and bowls based on the four seasons. \u003cbr/\u003eNicholas Rena explains that he uses taut designs and bold colours to create objects of beauty that people like to touch. \u003cbr/\u003eRena's work has just been sold as a complete collection for �28,000 (54,700 USD). He hopes that people will use his creations for special occasions that touch people emotionally. \u003cbr/\u003eThe Jerwood Contemporary Makers Exhibition opens to the public today (June 5 2008) until
