Protester sleeping under tank\u003cbr/\u003eAnti-government protests in Cairo's Tahrir Square in Egypt continued on Sunday, with some protesters saying they would sleep under army tanks surrounding the square because of fears they would be pulled out as part of a plan to evict them.\u003cbr/\u003eHundreds of protesters took part in noon prayers in the square and later offered a prayer for the souls of protesters killed in clashes with Egyptian security forces.\u003cbr/\u003eLater, Christians held a Sunday Mass, with thousands of Muslims joining in.\u003cbr/\u003eEgypt's largest opposition group, the Muslim Brotherhood, said it would begin talks on Sunday with the government to try to end the country's nearly two-week-old political crisis but made clear it would insist on President Hosni Mubarak's immediate ouster.\u003cbr/\u003eThe decision by the fundamentalist Islamic group, which has been outlawed since 1954 but fields candidates as independents, comes as Egypt's leadership seeks to defuse mass demonstrations - now in their 13th day - by proposing reforms but stopping short of the protesters' key demand that Mubarak step down.\u003cbr/\u003eThe Brotherhood was not among the forces behind the protests, the largest since a 1919 uprising against British colonial rule. \u003cbr/\u003eIt only ordered its supporters to take part when it sensed that the protesters, mostly young men and women using social networks on the Internet to mobilise, were able to sustain their momentum.\u003cbr/\u003eThese youth groups have said they were not planning to negotiate with the regime until Mubarak stepped down, but are in contact with politicians and public figures who are talking to the government.\u003cbr/\u003eThe talks between the Brotherhood and the regime would be the
