After all, the Bosnian Serb general has been formally indicted on charges of genocide and crimes against humanity.\u003cbr/\u003eHis name has been raked over the coals as one of the architects of \"ethnic cleansing\" in the former Yugoslavia, the destroyer of the U-N \"safe areas\" of Srebrenica and Zepa and the man behind the systematic rape and slaughter of Muslims.\u003cbr/\u003eBut not all share this negative assessment of the Bosnian Serb commander.\u003cbr/\u003eAn Athens lawyer says Mladic has been misrepresented.\u003cbr/\u003eA fervent admirer of Mladic, Alexander Lykourezos has agreed to represent the general as a press agent and lawyer.\u003cbr/\u003eBut why would a well-known lawyer risk tarnishing his own reputation by working for the likes of Mladic?\u003cbr/\u003eI am a Greek, and if you feel like a Greek, if you think like a Greek and if you believe like a Christian Greek Orthodox, then you automatically identify yourself with the Serbian cause and their struggle. So I've felt a great affinity for those people.\u003cbr/\u003eSUPER CAPTION: Alexander Lykourezos, Mladic's lawyer\u003cbr/\u003eAccording to Lykourezos, the issue is very simple. General Mladic has an image problem. He is a straightforward, honest man who has not had a proper chance to explain himself.\u003cbr/\u003eI'm trying and I'm trying my best to help in improving his image.
