delegation in the West Bank town of Jericho.\u003cbr/\u003eAfterwards, Palestinian delegate Ahmed Qureia said it was too early to comment on the merits or defects of the current US peace plan, but emphasised that there must be a clear way forward to an independent Palestinian state.\u003cbr/\u003eSpeaking from his headquarters in the West Bank city of Ramallah, Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat
