Miller and Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev leave\u003cbr/\u003eGazprom's top executive warned on Friday that a Ukrainian threat to review a controversial gas supply deal could result in a fresh crisis, seven months after a bitter price feud between the two countries temporarily disrupted gas flows to Europe. \u003cbr/\u003e\"Without a doubt such announcements that we are hearing from Ukraine could lead to another serious gas crisis,\" Alexei Miller, Gazprom Chairman said during a news conference.\u003cbr/\u003eEarlier this week, Yulia Tymoshenko, who is widely expected to become Ukraine's new prime minister, vowed to revisit the gas deal that sparked the price dispute at the beginning of this year. \u003cbr/\u003eMiller said Tymoshenko's decision to review the deal was \"destabilising\" for the Gazprom-Ukraine relationship.\u003cbr/\u003e\"Such an announcement leads us to consider that Ukraine is currently the weak link in our transit of Russian gas to Europe,\" Miller said.\u003cbr/\u003eCompounding the situation is the threat of a price rise from Turkmenistan which wants more money for its gas contributions to Gazprom. \u003cbr/\u003eTurkmenistan is Gazprom's main contributor.\u003cbr/\u003eTurkmenistan has threatened to cut off supplies if a new gas deal is not agreed on and signed by September.\u003cbr/\u003eUkraine fears the increased price will be passed onto its customers.\u003cbr/\u003eDuring the press conference, Miller cautioned that Kiev's gas bill could rise if his company is forced to pay more for the Central Asian gas it sells on to Ukraine.\u003cbr/\u003eIn a separate development, Gazprom announced a reciprocal deal between Russia and Italy that will open up the Italian market to Gazprom and allow Italian energy giant  Eni SpA to drill for gas in Russia.\u003cbr/\u003e\"Our plans to expand our business abroad are large scale. The number of countries where Gazprom operates grows bigger every year, and I can say that in the near future we will continue to grow,'' Miller said.\u003cbr/\u003eGazprom is pursuing a strategy whereby foreign energy companies will be allowed to tap into its nearly 30 trillion cubic meters of gas reserves on the condition that Gazprom is given access to Europe's lucrative retail and distribution markets.\u003cbr/\u003eGazprom is the biggest gas producer in the world and supplies 25 percent of the gas that Europe
