Various shots of models getting ready ahead of runway show. \u003cbr/\u003eMixtures of traditional patchwork block print and white dresses were showcased by designers at the second day of Fashion Pakistan Week 2012 in Karachi.\u003cbr/\u003eEmerging designer Adnan Pardesy, a graduate from Asian Institute of Fashion Design, showcased his work of \"Ralli\" - a traditional patch work in Sindh province of Pakistan - with some inspiration of Japanese Origami. \u003cbr/\u003eIt wasn't an easy journey for Adnan Pardesy to prepare these collections; he has been working on this for more than a year. Journalist Zurain Imam says that Abbas' collection was one of the most spectacular collections of the evening.\u003cbr/\u003e\"Zaheer Abbas was one of my favorite collections, very pure, it was like Sundays in the parkway and elegant feeling to it, it was very nice styling with hats and it was beautiful,\" Zurain said.\u003cbr/\u003eThis is fourth edition of Fashion Pakistan Week in two years. Participants believe that it is providing a Launchpad to all the new comers to showcase their talent in the growing fashion industry of Pakistan.\u003cbr/\u003eModel Nadia Hussain spoke of the importance of fashion week.\u003cbr/\u003e\"Fashion weeks have become an integral part of the fashion industry in Pakistan, where all new designers and all designers, they do want to exhibit their collections in fashion weeks, because it really gives them a good leverage.
