The singer showed herself to be in peak fitness at a packed concert in the Great Western Forum in Los Angeles.\u003cbr/\u003eThe date was the first of 50 for the Re-Invention tour which will see the singer perform in the US, Canada and Europe. \u003cbr/\u003eThe first of Madonna's nearly 50 sold-out 'Re-Invention Tour' concerts seemed to raise more questions than it answered, the biggest being whether the one-time self-proclaimed \"material girl\" is still in vogue. Of course, with more than 16,000 tickets sold for tonight's concert at the Great Western Forum, it was easy to find fans to answer in the affirmative. \u003cbr/\u003e\"She's always on top of the world,\" said one concertgoer. \"She's always on top of the world today. She knows her business. She's always going to be on top, until she dies. She's a great music and she deserves to keep going forever and ever.\"\u003cbr/\u003eHer show opened, appropriately enough, with 'Vogue,' with backup dancers slowly lowered to the stage a la Cirque du Soleil performers. Madonna struck a pose, a handstand, before whisking into her 14-year-old dance classic. The singer also dipped into her back catalogue for her William Orbit-producer ballad, 'Frozen.'\u003cbr/\u003eBefore the concert, one pair of ticket holders bickered. \"Well, we have a disagreement,\" announced one of the men. \"He thinks that she's relevant. I think that she's long-gone. But, hey!, we got extra tickets. We cannot sell them.
