Wide shot of red carpet pan up to Shrine Auditorium    \u003cbr/\u003eThe Shrine Auditorium played host to the annual People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. \u003cbr/\u003eThe red carpet was buzzing with excitement as the fans cheered on their favourite stars of music, film and television.  \u003cbr/\u003eEntertainer Queen Latifah, host of this year's People's Choice Award brought the red carpet alive, twirling in a purple evening gown, while actors Hugh Laurie and Robert Sean Leonard from the medical drama \"House,\" greeted the hundreds of screaming fans with smiles and handshakes. \u003cbr/\u003eJennie Garth, star of the hit TV series \"90210\" and one of the evening's nominees in the \"Favorite New Televison Drama\" category, was especially excited about the nomination. Particularly because she was a prominent cast member in the original series which debuted nearly two decades ago. \u003cbr/\u003e\"The original '90210' got a 'People's Choice' award. So now, to be nominated for the new '90210,' the show, I'm very proud of it.
