It's too sensitive. I don't want the right headlines, I don't want to be involved in saying anything that would in any way jeopardise the very important work which has to be done if we are to get the next phase in this process built.\u003cbr/\u003eSUPER CAPTION: Gerry Adams, Sinn Fein Leader\u003cbr/\u003eSinn Fein has consistently refused to condemn I-R-A killings, that along with a refusal to discuss the decommissioning of weapons has kept them excluded from talks.\u003cbr/\u003eTalks which Adams says they should be allowed to attend.\u003cbr/\u003eWell we should be in talks anyway, as of right, because we have a mandate and we want to be treated the same as the other parties. The last British government put up obstacles to our involvement in those talks, we are trying to remove those obstacles. Sinn Fein wasn't involved in those killings. Sinn Fein is Sinn Fein. We have a mandate, we are the third largest party in this statelet. We stand for a peace strategy, we stand on a position of dialogue as a means of resolving conflicts. So our opponents here have seized in a rather ghoulish way upon those killings to try and demonise Sinn Fein, to try and guilt trip those who support our party. So we uphold the right of the Orangemen to march. What we say to them is in the contentious parades, in those areas where you are not wanted, go in God's name  and talk to the people of those areas and try and work out an accommodation.
