The rules for the United Nations says that if you say someone is guilty you have to prove that guilt. We haven't to date seen any proof. Abdirisak Aden and Leif Silbersky shaking hands\u003cbr/\u003eTwo Swedish attorneys will head to the United States on Saturday to argue that three Somali immigrants accused of funnelling money to terrorists have been denied due process. \u003cbr/\u003eSpeaking in Stockholm on Friday, Sweden's most prominent defence attorney said he hadn't seen anything of substance that threw suspicion on his clients.\u003cbr/\u003eLeif Silbersky said his clients deserved to have their case tried in court according to the principles of the rule of law embodied in the US constitution and the UN charter.\u003cbr/\u003eOn Saturday, Silbersky and colleague Thomas Olsson will embark on a mission to exonerate the three naturalised Swedes.\u003cbr/\u003eSilbersky and Olsson will meet delegates from the UN sanctions committee in New York on Tuesday and Wednesday and with officials from the US State Department and Treasury Departments in Washington on Thursday.\u003cbr/\u003eThe lawyers will ask for their clients to be crossed off the list or for more detailed evidence than the 24 pages of graphs, fact sheets and speeches by US officials they received last week via the Swedish Foreign Ministry.\u003cbr/\u003eThe three men's financial assets were frozen after they appeared on a list of 168 individuals and organisations suspected of financial ties to the al-Qaida terrorist network.\u003cbr/\u003eMost of the names, including the three Swedes, were adopted on a separate list by the United Nations sanctions committee.\u003cbr/\u003eOne of the migrants named on the list is Abdirisak Aden, an active community member and candidate for parliament and the Stockholm city council in September elections.\u003cbr/\u003eThe other two immigrants ran the Swedish chapter of the Somali money transfer network Al Barakaat.\u003cbr/\u003eThe US claims Al Barakaat is linked to Osama bin Laden, suspected mastermind of the September 11 attacks in New York and Washington, but Aden insists it is a legitimate organisation.\u003cbr/\u003eSince his assets were frozen on November 8, Aden hasn't been able to withdraw money, receive government benefits or travel abroad.\u003cbr/\u003eSwedish financial authorities say they've frozen one point two (M) million kronor (113-thousand US dollars), including the three men's personal assets.\u003cbr/\u003eMany Swedes believe the men have not been granted due process.\u003cbr/\u003eA private fund has been set up to help cover their personal expenses and legal costs. \u003cbr/\u003eUS officials have declined to discuss the Swedes because their case is under administrative review. \u003cbr/\u003eThe men also have appealed to the European Court of Justice.\u003cbr/\u003eBut US Undersecretary of the Treasury Jimmy Gurule has said the process of compiling the sanctions list is \"fair\" and \"deliberative\" and that shutting down Al Barakaat has disrupted the movement of funds by al-Qaida to its operatives around the world.\u003cbr/\u003eThe legal challenge comes amid increased international scepticism about the methods used by President George W. Bush in the fight against terrorism.\u003cbr/\u003eThe Swedish government hasn't taken a stand on the specific cases, although it has asked for a review of the process of compiling such
