SOUNDBITE: (English) Colin Powell, US Secretary of State:\u003cbr/\u003e\"Well there's always significance when you meet with people like Prime Minister Sharon and King Abdullah of Jordan and I think both the President and I, and the other members of the administration, are anxious to hear Prime Minister Sharon's assessment of the situation as he sees it, how he would like to move forward with respect to restoring security cooperation with the Palestinians, with respect to what we can do to improve the life of the Palestinians, what we can do to make sure that we don't see a return to the kind of terrorism and violence that caused the recent crisis, and I also think the President is also anxious to hear from Prime Minister Sharon as to what his ideas are as to how to go forward with a political process, and I expect we'd have the same kind of conversations with King Abdullah. Foreign Minister Saoud of Saudi Arabia will be here tomorrow and I'll have a chance to have similar conversations with him. This is all part of a series of meetings and events and consultations we've been having since the President gave his April 4th speech, which laid out a vision of a Palestinian state living side-by-side in peace with Israel and this process will continue over the next month or so and we'll try to draw various ideas with respect to security, with respect to reconstructing the Palestinian Authority in a non-corrupt, democratic way, and a political plan to move forward. Palestinian Authority must be reconstructed in a \"non-corrupt, democratic way\".\u003cbr/\u003ePowell says President Bush is anxious to hear Prime Minister Sharon's assessment of the situation on the ground - and any proposals he has for moving forward on a political front.\u003cbr/\u003eThe Secretary of State added that Jordan's King Abdullah and Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister would also be in
