Tilt down women wearing lettuce leaf bikini \u003cbr/\u003eAnimal rights protesters took to central Tokyo on Monday (3AUG09) wearing nothing more than bikinis adorned with lettuce leaves, to raise awareness of vegetarianism.\u003cbr/\u003eHolding signs that read \"Save the planet. Go Vegetarian\", three women wearing the lettuce leaf bikinis drew astonished looks from passers-by in Tokyo's shopping district of Shibuya.\u003cbr/\u003eThe protest, lasting just 30 minutes, was organised by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), an international animal rights group that opposes the farming of animals for meat or other body products.\u003cbr/\u003e\"Basically it's a fun and sexy way to draw attention to a very serious message, and that is that if you want to save the planet you have to go vegetarian,\" said Ashley Fruno, Senior Campaigner,
